Is it Creepy or not?

When I first got to Korea, I was having a very hard time meeting locals. Koreans tend to be very shy and are nervous to speak English. Normal when I try to talk to them they just run away from me, without saying anything. My classmates barely acknowledge my existence.

Side note: I am taking three core classes (All in Korean. . . I don’t speak Korean.) and 1 class for more credits (in English).

So I was having a hard time finding interesting places to go. I started following people under bridges because that is the cool place to hang out. Along with staking, I started going up to random people in the streets and talking to them. One girl, I found (sounds creepy but its what happened so I’m going to roll with it) in the streets turned out to be the team captain of Hongik Uni. running club. I started running with them after 4 years of retirement! Today’s “20K” run turned into a 10K because I am not as young as I once was. (second time running)
The cute thing about running events here is that we split into time sections and run the first 5k as a group 15 or so. I didn’t sign up for the event because I was too late but I was still able to win socks and run with these goofballs. Sometimes being creepy really pays off!
